

VYPE: When did you first start playing softball and what is your favorite part of playing it?
Maddison: I started playing at the age of four and my favorite part of playing is competing.
VYPE: How has your season gone so far and have you accomplished your goals for the season; what were those goals?
Maddison: It’s been good but didn’t end how I wanted but the goals I’ve set this season especially as a new pitcher was to have five strikeouts in one game. This season I have met that goal.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Maddison: Pitching a no hitter against Warner.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Maddison: Mrs. Hamner she is the kindest lady you’ll ever meet.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Maddison: When I went to nationals in Gulf Shores, and made some of the best plays for myself so far.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Maddison: Emalee Hodge, because even when she wasn’t playing or wasn’t doing her best she always kept a smile on her face and put one on mine too.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Maddison: Sarah Kelley no doubt.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Maddison: On a beach somewhere, and I would bring my family and friends.

Maddison: I want to say thank you to all the coaches that have gotten me here and also a big thank you to my mom and dad for spending endless hours on the field with me and being my biggest fans.
