Keys’ Logan Little – Baseball Spotlight – Presented by AAA Insurance

Representing Keys High School to the best of his ability is senior baseball player Logan Little. From baseball to FFA to student council, Logan is committed to giving his school all he’s got. “I play pitcher, shortstop and third base,” Logan said. “The thing that motivates me the most is being a good leader for my younger teammates.” This sense of responsibility towards his team reflects Logan’s commitment to not just personal success but also fostering a supportive and cohesive team environment.

When it comes to role models, Logan looks up to Lane Taylor, who has been instrumental in shaping his approach to the game. “He taught me that no matter how bad a game or a season is going, always stay positive and be a good teammate.”

In the classroom, Logan credits Audra Stilwell as the teacher who has made a significant impact on his life. “She has always helped me with anything I have ever needed, and she makes sure that I am working hard and doing the right things.”

Logan’s success in sports, particularly baseball, has been a result of his unwavering dedication and confidence. “To be successful in sports, it has taken hard work, dedication and being confident that I will succeed no matter how hard it gets,” he said.

Reflecting on his baseball career, Logan highlights a memorable moment from his sophomore season. “The highlight of my baseball career was during my sophomore season in regionals when I came into pitch. I went 4.1 innings with 9 strikeouts and ended up striking out the final batter to send us to the state tournament.”

Representing his school and community holds special significance for Logan. “It means a lot to me because I remember when I was younger watching all the older kids playing their sports, looking up to them and wanting to be just like them,” he said. “When we went to state, I was getting congratulated by people I have never talked to.”

In his future plans, Logan envisions taking a year off from school to work and gain experience. “Then, if I don’t like what I’m doing, I want to go to school to be a baseball coach.”
