
CONGRATULATIONS to several Cougar athletes who set school records recently and medaled at the Class 3A state track meet.
Aliviah Stricker finished 4th and set a school record in the 400-meter run with a time of 59:32. That was the highest individual finish ever for a Cougar athlete in state track. She was also a part of the 4X400 relay team that finished 4th with a time of 4:04.8, a new school record and 8th in the 4X200 relay. Other members of the relay team were Riley Thomas along with Payton and Paizlee Zodrow which is highest finish ever for a Keys relay team.
For the guys, Tristan Scott broke his own school record while finishing 5th in the 1600 meter run for Keys which is the highest finish ever for an individual male participant at state and took 10th place in the 3200-meter event
